www.mascagniufficio.itThe office 3.0 interpreted by Mascagni
Relying on its tradition, the Bologna-based
firm presents the evolution of the range of
sound-absorbing products, combined with the
versatile furnishing proposals and space divider
systems, enhanced by material explorations
also on wooden partitions
A display space where versatile furnishing products and
noble materials help to structure workplaces in an
innovative way. The architect Pietro Mascagni has set
out to create a path of tactile sensations and controlled
sound, to convey the visions of the company,
presenting its know-how with painstaking attention to
detail at Workplace 3.0.
The theme of acoustics is still Mascagni’s central focus,
with the evolution of the
TrèS Sound
system of modular
sound-absorbing panels, shifting it into new usage roles.
In the
Screen
version of
TrèS
, in fact, the Sound panels
become self-supporting dividers and also include
transparent or privacy panels, to create a secluded and
reconfigurable space with high levels of acoustic
performance. In the
Spine
version
TrèS
gives rise to
wired partitions composed of stacked modules of
different heights that can contain storage elements,
panels in metal, melamine or fabric, and dedicated desks
to formulate functional layouts in open-plan areas. The
Sound Lux
system of suspended panels, developed in
collaboration with the lighting company 3F Filippi,
combines acoustic efficacy with lighting to optimize
comfort. Finally, in the
TréS Sound Sky System
triangular
sound-absorbing panel inserts – in wood, laminate or
fabric – shape the ceiling of the spaces to create quiet
zones that can be extended to the entire room.
Where divider partitions are concerned, the new
developments are
ALLinONE Slim
and
ALLinWOOD
,
which provide sound insulation while bordering spaces
in a creative way, permitting choice from a vast range of
set-ups and materials, including custom solutions.
ALLinONE Slim
harbors the secret of its multiformity
and adaptability in its extruded aluminium sections,
ready to hold single or double glass panels, or solid
panels with an inner structure in steel.
ALLinWOOD
reflects the latest research with a return to a natural
material, solid wood, used for the creation of a border
that offers the same set-up possibilities as the Slim
model, while moving in a new aesthetic direction.
“In recent years we have operated on my fronts, in Italy
and abroad, inserting both the design and manufacture
of special products and a contract division as integral
parts of our business. Direct management of these
areas enables us to respond to all the needs that can
arise during the implementation phase – says Alessio
De Luca, marketing research & development project
and technical manager of Mascagni. – This is a path of
projects and products that are often developments and
interpretations of requests encountered in the field. The
competitive advantage of a company comes from its
ability to foresee the needs and trends of the market,
finding effective responses and innovative solutions.
Mascagni has always attributed great importance to the
strategic role of research and development, investing
extensive resources in this area. We do not simply
implement projects; we also test and invent new
solutions, developed in-house on an everyday basis.”
